Fundraising for a Vehicle for the Social Adaptation of Children with Disabilities, Service Members, and Veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

International Charitable Foundation “STEP TO DREAM” announces a fundraising campaign to purchase a specialized vehicle that will be transferred to the Center for Physical Rehabilitation “Step by Step” in the city of Kyiv.

Every day, the Center’s team runs social adaptation and rehabilitation programs, including therapeutic horseback riding, art therapy, occupational therapy, outdoor activities, and psychological support events.

However, to transport program participants—children with disabilities, service members after injuries—as well as the necessary equipment, we need reliable transportation.

This vehicle will become an essential link in our shared mission—to help children with disabilities, active-duty service members, and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The vehicle will allow us to:

• 🚸 Safely deliver children with disabilities to sessions and social adaptation events;

• 💙 Ensure transportation of service members and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to rehabilitation program locations;

• ⚙️ Transport essential equipment and materials for off-site events and activities;

• 💛 Create a mobile support team capable of operating wherever help is needed.

🎯 Fundraising goal — 30,000 USD.

After the fundraising is completed and proposals are thoroughly reviewed, we will select the optimal vehicle model that meets the Center’s needs and transportation safety requirements.

📅 Estimated fundraising timeframe

1. The campaign will run until the goal is fully reached, but for no longer than 6 months from the date of its announcement.

2. We will publicly report on the results of the campaign and the vehicle purchase process on the Foundation’s official pages.

3. We sincerely believe that together we can take this important step toward a dream—a step toward accessibility, care, and recovery. Every contribution brings us closer to the goal!

   
   

💰 Use of remaining funds

• If the project is not fully implemented, or if unused funds remain after the vehicle is purchased, they will be directed to:

• other charitable programs of the Foundation, in particular to support the rehabilitation of children with disabilities;

• the social adaptation of service members and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

• support for therapeutic horseback riding programs and inclusive events;

• the statutory activities of the International Charitable Foundation “STEP TO DREAM”
